Cessna Aircraft Company has manufactured the largest fleet of business jets in the world, and has introduced a new flagship to its fleet, the Citation Latitude. Cessna announced the launching of its newest midsize twinjet at the 2011 NBAA convention, and completed its first flight in February 2014. Today, the Latitude certification program has accumulated 500 flights, and 1,200 hours bringing the aircraft an important step closer to receiving its type certification by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Cessna boasts that its new Citation Latitude will redefine what customers should expect from a midsize business aircraft. The declared superior flight functionality, performance, and contemporary cabin environment of the Citation Latitude, promises passengers an elevated flight experience. Other features of the aircraft include a state-of-the-art cabin technology system, which provides Internet and entertainment to passengers through touch-screen displays and personal electronic devices. The latitude also features ergonomic seats and a spacious interior to provide passengers with a more comfortable, and relaxed flight experience.
