GENERAL QUESTIONS

HOW DOES THE COST OF A PRIVATE JET CHARTER COMPARE TO COMMERCIAL FLIGHTS?

Jet charter is usually more expensive than flying commercial. However, when you add the extra costs of flying with a commercial airline with parking fees, cost of time wasted, hotels, etc., you will find that private jet charter is a more sensible way to travel than you may have expected.

When you travel by private air charter, you save time by arriving closer to your ultimate destination eliminating the need for overnight stays and check-in and security lines.

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN FRACTIONAL OWNERSHIP AND PRIVÉ JETS' JET CARD PROGRAMS?

Privé Jets' Jet Card Programs provide you the flexibility of flying whenever and wherever you want. Unlike fractional jet ownership programs, our Jet Setter Program and 25-hour cards allow you to only pay for the time you fly. There are no acquisition costs, no monthly maintenance fees, and no long-term commitments. Additionally, our programs give you the flexibility of choosing the ideal aircraft for each trip. With fractional jet ownership, you do not have unlimited use of the aircraft and your air travel has to be coordinated with the number of hours purchased at the beginning of the contract obligating you to predict your aircraft usage for the next five years and locking you to a single private jet model.

HOW CAN I PAY?

We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, checks, and wire transfers.

ARE YOUR PRIVATE AVIATION ADVISORS AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES?

Privé Jets is there for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We understand that emergencies give no advance notice, so our team of advisors is always available for YOU regardless of the day or time.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO CALL TO RESERVE A PRIVATE AIRCRAFT FROM PRIVÉ JETS?

Privé Jets is often able to book private air charter flights within just four hours’ notice. However, the sooner you call to reserve an aircraft, the better because flights are subject to aircraft and crew availability, particularly during peak travel times of the year, such as major holidays and sporting events.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR MAKE CHANGES TO MY FLIGHT?

You can cancel or make changes to your itinerary up to 48 hours prior to your private flight unless a different condition is set for a specific flight. If you need to cancel or make changes within 24 hours of your flight, we will pass on any incurred costs.

HOW DO YOU MAKE SURE THAT MY PRIVATE FLIGHT IS PERSONALIZED SPECIFICALLY FOR ME?

Privé Jets builds a personal profile for each client to ensure all air private charter flight experiences are tailored to the individual's preferences and requests. Personalized service and strict attention to detail are cornerstones of our success at Privé Jets.

WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS FOR CATERING ON MY PRIVATE FLIGHT?

At Privé Jets, we understand that the client is the most important asset of our company. Therefore, we do not set a limit on catering or any special services you may need. We can arrange almost anything you could want for your private charter flight.

JET CARDS QUESTIONS

ARE THERE EXTRA TAXES OR FEES?

Taxes are already included but segments fees are not. This fee is charged per passenger on each leg, and does not exceed $20 USD per passenger.

Yes. Taxi time is charged at 12 minutes per leg.

WHAT’S THE LEAD TIME FOR MAKING FLIGHT RESERVATIONS?

For standard travel days, reservations are required at least eight (8) hours prior to the scheduled departure time. Itineraries departing before 10:00 AM (local time at the point of departure) must be confirmed before 6:00 PM (local time at the point of departure) the day prior. For international flights, additional notification requirements may vary from destination to destination. On peak travel days, reservations are required at least seven (7) days prior to the scheduled departure date.

HOW MANY PEAK DAYS ARE THERE?

There is a total of 30 peak days in a year.

WHAT IS CONSIDERED A QUALIFYING ROUND TRIP?

Round-trip itineraries are defined as those trips that begin and end at the same airport, average at least the daily flight time minimums for each day of the trip, and can be completed within the constraints of a crew’s duty time.

WHAT ARE FLIGHT TIME MINIMUMS?

A minimum of two (2) hours per day are billed for each aircraft requested on each day. Additionally, portions of any itinerary involving an interim stop other than the stop at the final destination (i.e., a “leg” or a “segment”), will be billed at a minimum of one (1) hour for each aircraft requested.
